Bump to grind full cover-final
Having a baby should be one of the most joyous experiences of a woman’s life, right? Many new mothers feel blurry with sleep deprivation, their partners are annoying, and they are seriously sick of living on cereal, wearing granny panties, and having non-stop visitors who only want to see the baby. If you feel this way, From Bump to Grind will help you recognize an important truth: new motherhood is tough. And admitting that does not mean you are a bad mother. Postpartum expert Sarah Workman Checcone give you the inside story on what new motherhood is really like. Her words will reassure you. What you’re feeling normal. And you are not alone.

Sarah Workman Checcone is the founder and Executive Director of Postpartum Society of Florida (, a non-profit mom-to-mom organization based in Sarasota, whose mission is to ease the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. She holds a Juris Doctor in Law degree from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. Sarah is also a Certified Instructor of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and the MMTIC®. Sarah loves to sing, laugh, eat delicious food someone else cooked, be outside, encourage amazing women, and hang out with her husband and four cutie kiddos.
